testiminials:
You are, without a word of a lie, the best person/people I have ever dealt with. You are so onto it. You sent the records straight away. I got them this morning and you have sorted the minor glitch immediately. Thanks heaps.
All the best,
Andrew

Hi Jim,
Just wanted to pass on my sincere thanks for another perfect transaction over to Australia. The records arrived today in perfect condition, and I look forward to listening to them over the coming days. I'm also very keen to do business again shortly, so please keep those 'SALE' items coming!
Kind regards,
Chris

Thanks so much for all of your help.
I will definitely be giving you a strong recommendation on the
StereoNet forum and I am sure that many orders will follow from
Australia. If you have LPs in stock that I want then I wil be
ordering them from you in the future rather than through Acoustic
Sounds in the USA. If it helps to have a list of future items
that interest me then I can forward this onto you at some stage.

Saw your ad in Aus Hi Fi. Now retired, I have time to get more
out of my hi fi system. It is great to see that there is new stuff
out there. Expect an order soon!

To whom it may concern:
Of recent date, it has been necessary
for the Writer to upgrade his Hi-Fi system.
Firstly, of Mr. Jim Walker.
The Writer has known him since the
month of October 1995 and has found him to give good, sound and
reliable advice.
In other words, he is an "honest
broker" and as such, a man to be trusted.
For example, an old amplifier had given
up the proverbial ghost. "Better to buy anew", was the
advice given.
Then came the advice that tone controls,
&/c were unnecessary. The sceptic in the Writer was such as
to doubt that assertion.
For the purposes of audition, the Writer
was offered a Rega amplifier to take home. He was trusted.
Inter alia, my late father opined that
"95% of business of PR".
Secondly:
1. The Upgrade. The system is now:
(a) Rega "Apollo" CD player.
(b) Kimber Kable "Hero" interconnects.
(c) Rega "Mira 3" amplifier
2. Not upgraded:
(a) Image "414" speakers.
(b) Monster "XP" cables.
(c) NAD 5120 turntable / Ortofon OM60
cartridge.
1. Compact Discs:
(a) These reproduce such that any pianoforte
could easily be situated and played in the lounge of my small
home.
(b) Orchestral timbres and colours
exist as never before.
(c) There is an excellent de-lineation
of sound. For example, counterpoints are highlighted.
(d) There being "space" around
the instruments.
(e) In particular, and in terms of
reproduction, the lower frequencies are "tight" and
well-defined.
2. Vinyl Discs:
(a) These reproduce such that upper
frequencies are not so pronounced as above.
(b) Of course, the still extant differences
between the two formats still obtain.
3. Conclusions:
(a) Worth the expense to enjoy listening
to music and not Hi-Fi.
(b) Would deal with Mr. Walker again,
that is if necessary, and without hesitation.
(c) There is a certain disconcerting
variability in terms of the quality of the CD-medium.
Yours sincerely,
Christopher Miles, B.Sc(HONS)
